    “The home of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Edwards was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding last Thursday evening, where their son, Charles Albert, and Miss Leonie La Venture of Winnipeg, Canada, were united in matrimony. Rev. D. Truman was the officiating clergyman, using the single ring service. The sister and brother of the groom, Miss Lucille Edwards and Ernest Edwards, attended the bridal couple. After the ceremony, all present sat down to a splendid wedding dinner.
    The young couple will continue to reside in Newaygo and The Republican joins their many friends in wishing them much joy.”
