Finger Lakes Times, 29 Sep 2011 STANLEY - Ivahmae Lola Fox Enos, age 89, died Wednesday, (September 28, 2011), at her home. Friends may call Friday (Sept. 30th) from 1 to 3 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. Funeral services will be held Saturday (Oct. 1st) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance, P.O. Box 41, Gorham, N.Y. 14461; or to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, N.Y. 14456.
Ivahmae was born in the Town of Naples. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Lafler Fox, and the widow of Robert Enos, who died in 1987. Ivahmae was a well-known wallpaper hanger in the area for many years. She sustained serious injuries in a car accident in 2004, but recovered with great determination and spent her remaining days on her beloved farm, with family, friends and neighbors who adored her and will miss her.
Ivahmae is survived by two children, David Enos of Stanley and Joanne (Ronald) Goodman of Bristol; two grandchildren, Jeannine Green of Canandaigua, and Rebecca (Rob) Wallace of Canandaigua; and four great-grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Green and Jack and Evelyn Wallace.
