Phylogeny and Reconstructing Phylogenetic Trees

These few pages describe the problem of reconstructing phylogenetic trees with the help of a Java applet. I wrote the applet to discover more about the java language and the API interface. I've been interested in phylogenetic trees for some time and thought they would make a good subject. -- Dave Joyce
