4987. Elizabeth Prudden. Born ca 1615 in Kings Walden, Hertfordshire. Elizabeth was baptized in Kings Walden, Hertfordshire, on 17 Dec 1615. Elizabeth died on 29 Apr 1666.
In 1643 Elizabeth first married William Slough.64

From Abbott’s Families of Early Miford:64
    “William Slough was an after planter in 1639. Had lot #28 of 3 acres, which would be where Orange Avenue is not (1975). He was admitted to the Church 26 March 1648 and excommunicated for humble (___). Put to death in New Haven.”

William was in New Haven by 1644, removed next year to Milford, and joined the church 1648. He was excommunicated, says the record, for horrid offence, and put to death at New Haven.25

On 18 Dec 1653 Elizabeth second married Roger Prichard (2500) in Milford, CT.65 Roger died in New Haven, CT 26 Jan 1670[/1].56 Occupation: planter.

Roger was first in Wethersfield, CT, in 1640, then in Springfield, MA, in 1643, and in Milford in 1653.55 Freeman 13 Apr 1648.25

4988. Ann Prudden. Born ca 1617/8 in Kings Walden, Hertfordshire. Ann was baptized in Kings Walden, Hertfordshire, 8 Feb 1617/8. Ann died in Milford, CT on 3 Oct 1689.64 Religion: Ann waas admitted to the Milford Church 14 Feb 1640/1.68

Ann’s will was dated 13 Feb 1688/9, widow of Samuel Sr, names children Peter Samuel, and THomas Coley, Abilene Chaping, Sarah Batdwin, Mary Stream, and Hannah Gernse; son-in-law Joseph Gernsey executor. Inventory taken 11 Nov 1689.68
On 14 Feb 1640 Ann married Samuel Coley.64 Born ca 1614 in Great Munden, Hertfordshire. Samuel died in Milford, CT on 17 Aug 1684. Religion: Samuel was admitted to the Milford Church 25 Oct 1640.68

Samuel was of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1631, and in 1639 a freeplanter in Milford. In 1646 he was given lot #4 which consisted of 2 acres 1 rod and 20 poles. That was somewhere on West River Street near Maple Street (1975).64
    His will was made 22 Mar 1677/8, named wife Anne; son Peter Coley; dau. Sarah Baldwin; son Samuel Coley; daughters Abilene Chapin, Mary Simpson, and Hannah Garsey; and son Thomas Coley. Inventory taken 26 Sep 1684.68
