Enoch’s will was proven in 1736. It mentions his wife Hannah and three daughters. His wife was executrix.
2 Mar 1699/1700 [?] Enoch married Hannah Cook (6970) , daughter of John Cook (2619) (13 Jan 1630-16 May 1691) & Mary Borden (5660) (ca 1633-23 Dec 1690), in Portsmouth, RI.322 Enock Briggs and Hannah Wilcocks, widow of Daniel, were married by Joseph Sheffield, Asst., 2 Mar 1699/1700. Born ca 1660 in Portsmouth, RI. Hannah died in Portsmouth, RI on 22 Oct 1736.

Hannah first married Daniel Wilcox, second Enoch Briggs.

Although Abigail and Sarah are listed as children of Enoch and Hannah (Cook) (Wilcox) Briggs in the Portsmouth, RI, vital records,322 only Susannah is listed with a birth date. The marriage date of 1799 for Enoch and Hannah conflicts with Susannah’s birth date of 1797 and with Abigail’s first marriage to John Moon in 1710. Perhaps they were actually married about 1790.

18809i.
Abigail Briggs (-26 Sep 1757)
18810ii.
Susanna Briggs (21 Sep 1697 [9?]-)
