Benjamin first married Anna Vickery, second Deborah (Jacob) Cushing, widow of Matthew Cushing.

Benjamin was a deacon of the church at Hull, a man of good repute. Was town officer in several lines, clerk, treasurer, selectman, moderator of town meetings. Was on the Grand Jury in 1723. Was sent by the town as a committee on several errands of importance, to individuals and bodies.
    At one of the meetings over which he presided, Nov. 2, 1730, the tovm voted there should be bought for the town's use a whale boat, also a pall to lay over corpses.
   
Benjamin died in his 61st year.165
On 8 Oct 1702 Benjamin first married Anna Vickery, daughter of Isaac Vickery (ca 1654-4 Apr 1726) & Elizabeth Cromwell (-14 Apr 1697), in Hull, MA.165 Born ca 1676. Anna died in Hull, MA on 15 Aug 1723.165 Buried in Hull Cemetery.

Anna, wife of Benjamin Loring and daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Vickry, died 15 Aug 1723 in her 47th year.165

From the Loring Genealogy, page 36:107
    John was a deacon of the church at Hull, often in town office, and much respected. On the committee appointed March 19, 1733, to build a new meetinghouse “thirty feet wide and thirty six feet long.” He was of the owners of Rainsford’s Island, who sold it to the Province in 1736 for a hospital site. On the committee to buy a new church bell (150 pounds) in 1743.
10 Feb 1708/9 John married Elizabeth Collier, daughter of John Collier (ca 1662-31 Jan 1713) & Marcy (-11 Mar 1748), in Hull, MA.165 Born ca 1690 in Hull, MA.318 Elizabeth died in Hull, MA on 29 Jan 1744.165

Elizabeth’s identity has not been learned, but since two of John’s brothers married two Collier sisters, Elizabeth may be a previously unidentified sister.109

“James was a sea captain in the Barbados trade (C.J.F. Binney Ms, 18). After the birth of their first child, he and Mary moved to Boston where he became a merchant and landholder. He died intestate; on 17 July 1761 administration of his estate was granted to Stephen Greenleaf, Esq., who, with John Greenleaf, apothecary, and William Greenleaf, merchant, prepared the inventory (Suffolk Co. Probate file 12747). The estate, totalling £2549 16s., included a wooden house with stables in Long Lane, Boston, valued at £400; a piece of land on Atkinson Street with store, £300; a brick house on Prout's Lane at the north end of town, near Mr. Pemberton's meetinghouse, £250; three wharves with land adjacent on the lower side of the way on Battery March, £1000; and land fronting same on the upper side of the highway, with the cellar walls, £400. Also included were one Negro man, Primus; one Negro woman, Belinda; and one Negro girl, Rose.”109

Samuel was selectman of Hull and a deacon of the church.107

John bequeathed his property to his wife Jane, his sister, Mary Goold, a legacy to the church, and the residue to his brothers.107
