On 29 Apr 1669 Mary married Ens. John Pearce (12063) , son of Richard Pearce (4100) (1615-1678) & Susannah Wright (1627-1678), in Portsmouth, RI. Born on 8 Sep 1647 in Portsmouth, RI.105 John died in Tiverton, RI, on 5 Dec 1707; he was 60.374 Occupation: mason.

John and Mary resided in Portsmouth and Tiverton. John, freeman of the town of Portsmouth 28 Apr 1669, and of the colony from Portsmouth 2 May 1671. In 1681 he made several purchases of lands in Pocassett, afterwards Tiverton. He probably settled in Pocassett about 1682-3 and was one of the incorportators of Tiverton 1692. John was commissioned an Ensign of the militia, moderator of town meeting at Tiverton in 1705. Tiverton was incorportated as a town 2 Mar 1692, and among the 27 citizens at that time residing there was John Pearce.49

Dec. 11, 1706 he sold lands in Portsmontil to Thomas Durfee.
Aug. 3, 1709, an agreement was filed between John Pearce of Tivcrton, John Read, Jr., of Freetown and Mary his wife, Samuel Shearman and Sarah his wife of Swanzey, Thomas Cook, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth, John Cook, son of John Cook and Rachel his wife of Tiverton, and Alice Pearce, all children of John Pearce, deceased, who died intestate. John was the only son. He was commissioned an Ensign of militia; moderator of town meeting at Tiverton in 1705. He is said to have been a mason by trade. His gravestone still [1887] remains with legiable inscription.49

3 Mar 1673/4 Elizabeth married Isaac Lawton, son of Thomas Lawton (ca 1614-29 Sep 1681) & Elizabeth Salsburie (ca 1616-1675), in Portsmouth, RI.322 Isaac Lawton, son of Thomas, and Elizabeth Tallman, daughter of Peter, were married by Joshua Coggeshall, Assistant, 3 Mar 1673/4. Born on 11 Dec 1650 in Portsmouth, RI.322 Isaac died in Portsmouth, RI 25th 11m 1731 [25 Jan 1731/2].322

Isaac was a deputy of the General court eight years ranging from 1696 through 1708.49

On 5 Mar 1678 Ann married Stephen Brayton, son of Francis Brayton (ca 1612-5 Sep 1692) & Mary (-aft 1691), in Portsmouth, RI.322 Born ca 1654 in Portsmouth, RI. Stephen died in Portsmouth, RI ca 1692.105

On 7 Nov 1683 Peter married Ann Wright, daughter of Benjamin Wright (ca 1610-29 Mar 1677) & Jane Meigs (ca 1617-16 Dec 1724), in Portsmouth, RI.105 Born say 1658 in Guilford, CT. Ann died in Guilford, CT on 21 May 1731.105

Ca 1676 Susannah first married Joseph Beckwith, son of Matthew Beckwith (22 Sep 1610-21 Oct 1680) & Elizabeth Lynde (-bef 1690). Born ca 1653 in New London, CT. Joseph died in Lyme, CT ca 1707.

Susannah second married George Way, son of George Way (ca 1614-) & Elizabeth Smith. Born ca 1655 in Lyme, CT.

On 18 Dec 1680 Sarah married William Wilbor, son of William Wilbor (21 May 1630-15 Apr 1710) & Martha (-ca 1682), in New Shoreham, RI. Born on 25 Dec 1660 in Portsmouth, RI. William died in Little Compton, RI in 1738.
