26 Feb 1717/8 Hannah second married Lieut. Joseph Sackett (6452) , son of John Sackett (2506) (-3 Sep 1684) & Agnes Tincome (-1707), in New Haven, CT.56 Born 3 Mar 1659[/60] in New Haven, CT.56 Joseph died in 1729.55

        “In 1704 the General Assembly of Connecticut, in reorganizing the militia for active service 'against the common enemy,' appointed 'Sergeant Joseph Sackett to be Lieutenant of the soldiers raised in the county of New Haven for this service.'
        “He was administrator of the estates of his parents and served as such until July 8, 1712, when he filed his report and was discharged. On January 1, 1717, he was chosen by his nephew John Sackett, a minor son of Lieut. John Sackett, as his guardian.”

Eleazar Whelock, 1735 ; Martha, July 17, 1700, who married Thomas Goodsell, jun. ; Theodora, Nov. 2, 1703 ; Deodate, Oct. 23, 1706 ; Elisabeth, Aug. 28, 1709.-2d wife, widow Elisabeth Maltbie, daughter of John Morris, had Abraham, James.487
