On 4 Dec 1685 when Mary was 23, she married David Stowell (7112) , son of Samuel Stowell (ca 1625-9 Nov 1683) & Mary Farrow (2647) (ca 1633-24 Oct 1708).45 Born ca 1660 in Hingham, MA. David was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 8 Apr 1660.45 David died in Newton, MA on 9 Sep 1724. Occupation: weaver.

David removed to Cambridge before his second marriage, and they afterwards settled in Newton. David lived to an advanced age and was known as “Old Stowell.”45

Although only sixty-four when he died he had long been known in New ton as “Old Stowell.” He was in Woburn in 1686 and in Watertown in 1708, but was identified with Newton. He was a weaver by occupation. The only office he held was that of Surveyor of Highways, 5 March 1715.88
