Aft 1718 Abigail second married Lieut. Thomas Smith (7956) , son of Thomas Smith (ca 1634-16 Nov 1724) & Elizabeth Patterson (2847) (ca 1644-24 Dec 1727). Born on 31 Jan 1673 in New Haven, CT.56 At the age of 13, Thomas was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 14 Nov 1686.55 Thomas died in East Haven, CT in 1762.55
