1 Jan 1682/3 Mary married Thomas Hazen, son of Edward Hazen (ca 1614-Jul 1683) & Hannah Grant (ca 1631-Feb 1715/6).419 Born 29 Feb 1657/8 in Rowley, MA.419 Thomas died in Norwich, CT on 12 Apr 1735.419

“Thomas owned a farm at Rowley at his father’s death. He removed to Boxford before March 22, 1689-90, where he was made freeman. He was dismissed from the church in Topsfield, to become one of the constituent members of the church in Boxford, in 1702; and in 1711 again removed to Norwich, Conn., where he died April 12, 1735, aged 77 years. He lived in the part of Norwich called West Farms, and, with three sons, was one of the petitioners for its incorportaion as a parish in 1716. It is now Franklin.”419

On 25 Dec 1688 Alice married Isaac Cummings (10263) , son of Dea. Isaac Cummings (3433) (ca 1632/3-Jan 1721) & Mary Andrews (5931) (ca 1640-bef 1712), in Ipswich, MA. Born on 15 Sep 1664 in Topsfield, MA.149 Isaac died in Topsfield, MA, on 7 Aug 1746; he was 81.

    Isaac “was a fanner in Ipswich. His first wife, Alice, with her sister, Mary, wife of Thomas Hazen, received by will of their grandfather, Thomas Howlet, Sr., 1OO acres of land in Ipswich, in ‘the thick woods.’ That will was dated Nov. 1, 1677. The land was deeded to them by William Howlet, executor, Apr. 4, 1687. Hazen and wife sold their half to Isaac and Alice Cummings, Oct. 10, 1693, for £80. This estate was bounded by ‘Salstonstall’s’ and Samuel Howlet’s farms. In 1721 Isaac bought of John Goodhue, for £78, 13 1/2 acres ‘on the edge of the thick woods,’ on Ipswich river, bounded on Thomas Lamson’s meadow and on Mr. Hart’s. He and his wife were dismissed to Ipswich church, 172I1, from church in Topsfield. He sold his Rowley village land, 67 acres, to John Chadwick, Oct. 3, 1717, for £103. June 28, 1726, a division was made between Isaac and his son, Isaac, Jr., of the 138 acres they owned, ‘bounded on Salstonstalls, E. on Samuel Hart, partly on said Cummings, Sr., N. on Joseph Cummings and Dea. John Howlet, W. on Ipswich River and partly on Joseph Cummings’.’ He bequeathed to his son, Isaac, the John Goodhue land, above mentioned, and 2 1/2 acres of woodland, Iying by Smith's land, formerly Salstonstall’s; to his widow, as long as she remained such, the use and improvement of nis estate, she paying to Isaac the land just mentioned and £40 lent him years ago; to Lydia Smith, daughter, £100; to four grandchildren, children of daughter, Alice Bixby, deceased, £100, to be paid as they arrive at full age, the sons at 21, and the daughters at 18; to daughter, Jemima Foster, £150, also half of his household goods; to Jerusha, daughter, the same as to Jemima. The inventory of his estate was £602 2s. 4d.”
