After being captured at the sack of Deerfield on 29 Feb 1704, Mary spent the rest of her life with the Cahnassaga Indians, a Mohawk tribe, and supposedly married their chief.

By 1707 Johathan had removed to Colchester with his parents and the rest of the family. He was a highway surveyor of Colchester in 1717, way warden in 1723.47
