    Joseph married Rebecca at Little Compton as early as 1694 as indicated by deeds; however, her famly name is not known. It has been said she was Rebecca Symmes/Simmons, daughter of Aaron and Mary (Woodworth) Simmons, however, this Rebecca was not born until 2 December 1679 and married Timothy White 1 January 1707/8.
    Joseph lived his married life at Little Compton until around 1734 when they went to Lebanon.
    Little Compton deeds (17:105), then Bristol County, Mass. Bay, 1 March 1725/6, Josepsh Woodworth of Little Compton sold acreage to Elihu Woodworth for 850 pounds, he, Joseph having “a good and perfect estate of inheritance in fee simple.” Rebecca, his wife, released her dower rights the next day.
Ca 1694 Joseph married Rebecca in Little Compton, RI.
