On 15 Apr 1720 Thomas sold his estate at Nichol’s Hill on Fort Hill St. in Hingham, consisting of a house, barn, and about six acres of land, to Josiah Lincoln, and moved to the second precinct at a place known as ‘Bread and Cheese Tree Plain’ (North Cohasset), where he afterwards resided.
In his will, made 23 May 1770, proved 19 Octd 1770, mentions wife Anna; sons Thomas and Peter, —”Peter to have the house where my late son Micah lived”; daughters Anna Sprague and Sarah Hatch; “my grandson Jonathan Humphrey, and greaddaughter Susanna Davis Humphrey”; also “my daughter in law Elizabeth Humphrey, the widow of my son Micah, deceased.”
