Born ca 1682. Theophilus died in Killingworth, CT on 14 Feb 1759.
Will: The will of Theophilus Redfield, made 22 September 1738 and
proved 6 March 1759 gives his wife Priscilla her thirds; gives
personal estate to his daughters, all unnamed, and directs that the
land be divided among his nine sons. He appoints his wife and son
Daniel as executors. The inventory taken 31 March 1759 includes
the date of his death. During his lifetime he had kept a list of
advancements to his older six sons and his eigth son Josiah and
these were taken into account in the distribution which names the
sons and daughters in sequence (but the latter without married
names). Division of the land was made among the nine sons: the
heirs of Daniel his deceased eldest son, Richard, Ebenezer,
Theophilus, Peleg, George, William, Josiah and James.
