Isaac first married Mary Otis, second Abigail (Cushing) Thomas, widow of Isaac Thomas.

As early as 1708, Isaac had acquired a large interest in the furnace at Furnace Pond, Pembroke (then Duxbury), established in 1702 by Lambert Despard. He removed to Pembroke in the summer of 1726, and lived on the estate of his father-in-law, Joshua Cushing. This property has been known as the ‘Little Estate,’ and remained in possession of Isaac’s descendants for several generations.42
Ca 1704 Isaac first married Mary Otis (28557) , daughter of Hon. John Otis (12018) (21 Sep 1657-23 Sep 1727) & Mercy Bacon (8 Jan 1659-). Born on 10 Dec 1685 in Hingham, MA.45 Mary died bef Nov 1732.

    Thomas was a mason in Plymouth, Mass. in 1711, moving to Pembroke, Mass. before 1713, in 1732 he ranked as ‘gentleman’ and in 1733 was a Magistrate.

Thomas removed to North Carolina with his eldest son Thomas.42
