Joseph Reynolds (17670) (29 Dec 1676-16 Jan 1759) & Phebe Leonard (11 Mar 1696-18 Dec 1744), in Rehoboth, MA.328 Born on 15 Nov 1719 in Bristol, RI.328 Joseph died in Bristol, RI, on 11 Sep 1789; he was 69. Joseph was freeman of RI from Bristol in 1747, and on 10 Feb 1746/7, together with his father, he took the Oath of Bribery and Corruption in Bristol. In 1760 he was elected a Representative to the General Assembly of RI. The 1774 census of Bristol listed him as head of a household of 14 people: two males above 16, two males under 16, five females above 16, one female under 16, and four blacks.328
