46750. Nehemiah Sturtevant. Born on 18 Nov 1710 in Plympton, MA.265 Nehemiah died in Kent, CT, on 18 Apr 1774; he was 63.

Nehemiah resided in Halifax; in 1749 or 1759 settled in Lebanon CT; the next year moved to Kent (Warren) CT; bought 100 acres of land from Wm Burnham, north of old Russell Carter farm and running to the present line between Kent and Warren.171
On 11 Dec 1734 when Nehemiah was 24, he married Fear Cushman (28866) , daughter of Lieut. Isaac Cushman (45071) (15 Nov 1676-4 Sep 1727) & Mercy Bradford (12181) (20 Dec 1681-27 Jun 1738), in Plympton, MA.171 Born on 10 Jul 1718 in Plympton, MA.265 Fear died in Kent, CT, on 29 May 1760; she was 41.

Ruth died at the house of her son Nathaniel, in Spencer.107
Ca 1734 Ruth married Capt. John Loring (21012) , son of Dr. Caleb Loring (7772) (9 Jun 1674-22 Dec 1732) & Lydia Gray (12 Mar 1677./8-28 Mar 1771). Born on 15 Nov 1715 in Plympton, MA.265 John died ca 1759.

From the Loring Genealogy, page 42:107
    John was captain of the Bridgewater company which marched to Crown Point in September, 1755; was encamped at Fort Edward July 25, 1756. General Winslow in a dispatch from Fort William Henry, October 28, 1756, says Captain Loring was sent off with a wagon for the transportation of the sick. He was probably killed in that campaign or in 1759.
