Hannah first married Joseph Thomas, and second Nehemiah Cushing as his second wife. Hannah and her two husbands were all second cousins; Hannah’s paternal grandmother Hannah Jacob, Joseph’s paternal grandmother Deborah Jacob, and Nehemiah’s paternal grandmother Elizabeth Jacob were sisters.

On 11 Oct 1721 when Hannah was 23, she first married Joseph Thomas (46098) , son of Nathaniel Thomas Esq (27257) (18 Oct 1664-24 Feb 1738) & Mary Appleton (15 Apr 1673-7 Oct 1727), in Plympton, MA.265 Born on 11 Nov 1702 in Plymouth, MA. Joseph died in Pembroke, MA, on 22 Mar 1743; he was 40.395 Buried in Pembroke Centre Cemetery.

Hannah second married Capt. Nehemiah Cushing (25552) , son of Capt. Theophilus Cushing (10028) (19 May 1657-7 Jan 1717/8) & Mary Thaxter (27252) (19 Aug 1667-1737). Born on 18 Jul 1689 in Hingham, MA.45 Nehemiah died in Pembroke, MA, on 11 Dec 1774; he was 85.2

Nehemiah first married Sarah Nichols, second Hannah (Loring) Thomas, widow of Joseph Thomas.

From The Genealogy of the Cushing Family, page 41:2
    Nehemiah settled in Pembroke MA in 1711, and had a tannery there. In 1712 the first Town meeting was held in Pembroke, and he was chosen Collector of Town Rates, and Surveyor of Highways, and in Mar 1719 was chosen Town Treasurer, and served in 1724. In May 1722 he was representative to the General Court at Boston; coroner in 1739 and 1762.

As Capt. Nehemiah Cushing he commanded Pembroke’s military company for many years. 42

From the Loring Genealogy, page 42:107
    John was captain of the Bridgewater company which marched to Crown Point in September, 1755; was encamped at Fort Edward July 25, 1756. General Winslow in a dispatch from Fort William Henry, October 28, 1756, says Captain Loring was sent off with a wagon for the transportation of the sick. He was probably killed in that campaign or in 1759.
Ca 1734 John married Ruth Sturtevant (46752) , daughter of Nehemiah Sturtevant (28264) (ca 1681-22 Aug 1744) & Ruth Sampson (22 Dec 1684-May 1766). Born on 28 Apr 1715 in Plympton, MA.265 Ruth died in Spencer, MA in Jan 1803.

Ruth died at the house of her son Nathaniel, in Spencer.107
