    Daniel “lived on King st., where his son Daniel resides [in 1853]. He is described by Hon. G. H. Barstow, as ‘a gent. of the old school, dressed in cocked hat, long blue coat, breeches, and long boots, fastened at the knee by a strap and buckle.’ This was in 1809. He was Selectman in 1786, and Capt. of one of the old Military Companies prior to 1800.”
