Rachel died age 88 years 10 months 26 days.52 That’s probably a misreading for 38 years.
On 24 Apr 1803 when Elijah was 42, he second married Phebe Otis (54999) , daughter of Capt. Noah Otis (45731) (ca 1734-22 Dec 1798) & Phebe Cushing (39115) (15 Apr 1738-30 Mar 1805), in First Parish Church of Scituate.52 Born on 15 Dec 1770 in Scituate, MA.52 At the age of 5, Phebe was baptized in First Parish Church of Scituate, on 2 Jun 1776.52 Phebe died in Scituate, MA between 25 Jan and 16 Feb 1824.16

According to the Second Church records, Paul died “suddenly by the oversetting of a loaded Carte”, 28 Mar 1786 age 19. His gravestone says that Paul, son of Capt. Elijah and Abigail Curtis, died age 10 years 8 months 4 days.52 That should say 18 years.
