Stephen of Wilmington. Born on 21 Oct 1704 in Reading, MA.81 John died in Reading, MA, on 22 Feb 1776; he was 71.81 Buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading.

John was selectman seven years, town clerk four years, representative nine years, and delegate to three Provincial Congresses at Watertown.285

John’s will named wife Sarah and sons John and William Temple, daughter Rebeckah (wife of Ephraim Parker) and daughter Elizabeth (wife of Joseph Bancroft). (Middlesex Probate, 22300.)232
