It may be that the John Dinehart who married Helen Craver was not this John, but some other John Dinehart. There are a few problems with identifying the John C. Dinehart, son of Chrisotopher Dinehart who married Mary Ann McNeill in in the 1850s, with John Dinhart, father of Catherine, Elizabeth, Stephen, Jerome, and John, husband of Helen Craver. First off, John and Helen were living in different places in 1850. Second, son Jerome Dinehart named his parents John Dinehart and Catherine Miller.
