On 19 Jul 1873 when Samuel was 33, he third married
Julia Ann Cook, daughter of
Emmor K. Cook (ca 1817-1900) &
Julia M. Sloan (17 Jun 1816-13 May 1904), in Portland, Ionia County, Michigan.
Born on 9 Jul 1850 in Walworth, Wayne County, New York. Julia Ann died in Lyons, Ionia County, Michigan, on 19 Jul 1937; she was 87. Buried in Lyons Township Cemetery.
Although Julia’s obituary clearly states that she was the daughter of Rufus Cook, that is incorrect. It correctly states that “at the age of three years she came with her parents to Michigan, where the family settled in Ronald” but the rest of the paragraph is incorrect as it refers to Rufus Cook who wasn’t her father. Rufus Cook was in Michigan at the time of her birth and never lived in New York. She didn’t move from Ronald to Cook’s Corners, where Rufus was the whole time, but from Ronald to Lyons with the rest of her family. The sentences about her being the daughter of Rufus Cook were apparently inserted by someone who didn’t know her parentage.

Emmor Cook and Rufus Cook seem to be unrelated. Emmor was the son of Joseph and Julanna (Sloan) Cook of New York, while Rufus was the son of Truman and Abia (Bushnell) Cook of Connecticut.
After 1920 Julia was living wher her son Bradley in Lyons.

Mrs. Julia Dinehart died at her home north of Muir at 7:00 o'clock Sunday evening, August 22, at the age of 87 years. Her health had not been good for several months, although she was not seriously ill.
Before her marriage she was Julia A. Cook, born in Oakland county, New York, on July 9, 1850. [There is no Oakland County in New York.] At the age of three years she came with her parents to Michigan, where the family settled in Ronald, but later moved to Cook's Corners, south of Belding, which was named for her father, Rufus R. Cook, who built a tavern when the road was opened in 1846. This became later a stage stop, and the place was named Cook's Corners. Rufus Cook was given charge of the Otisco post office, established at Dickinson in 1838, in 1839 when the office was transferred to Cook’s Corners.
She was married to Samuel Dinehart July 19, 1873, and lived her entire married life in that community.
Survivors are two sons, Bradley, with whom she lived at the time of her death, and Samuel, of Detroit; two daughters; Mrs. Frances Lewis, of Monmouth, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Keiser, of Pontiac; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, August 25, at 2 o'clock from the home north of Muir.
