The 1912 Atlas of Ottawa County shows 40 acres for Claus Steen in Georgetown Township. (Tony Steen is also a landowner in the township, but in a different part of it.) Claus’s 40 acres were in the middle section 19, west of 40th Avenue between Port Sheldon Steet and Baldwin Street. That area is all streets and houses now. There’s also 40 acres of land in section 30 without any house indicated labelled W. Steen. It’s on the south side of Port Sheldon St. between 40th and 48th streets, and it’s all streets and houses now, too.
