Born on 30 Oct 1837 in Franklin, Portage County, Ohio. Ellen died in Ness City, Ness County, Kansas, on 4 Oct 1928; she was 90. Buried in Ness City Cemetery.

In 1920 and 1925 Ellen was living with her son Leslie’s family in Ness.
