Julie Anne Leisgang of Rockford, age 42, lost her fight to cancer in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Julie was born to George and Annette (née Causley) Leisgang in Grant, Michigan on Thursday, September 28, 1972 and had been a life-long resident of the Rockford area. Julie enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved watching a good storm come in or taking long rides in the car. Julie was a wonderful daughter, loving sister, proud aunt, and dear friend. Her kind heart and beautiful smile will be remembered by family, friends, and all who knew her. Julie is survived by her mother Annette; brother George (Felicia Ball) Leisgang; special niece Stacie Leisgang; and many other nieces and nephews.
