On 3 Sep 1662 Clemence first married Dea. Jonathan Hunt (2031) , son of Thomas Hunt (ca 1604-Aug 1642) & Margaret Webster (817) (ca 1611/2-Jun 1656), in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.16 Born ca 1637 in Leicester, Leicestershire. Jonathan was baptized in St. Nicholas Church, Leicester, on 4 Jun 1637. Jonathan died in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts on 29 Sep 1691.161 Buried in Old Burying Ground, Northampton. Occupation: Maltster & cooper.

Thomas moved to Northampton about 1660, took the oath of allegiance 16 Feb 1678, freeman 19 May 1680, deacon 1681, and Representative 1690–1691.21,161

Bef Jun 1668 Stephen married Hannah Bushnell, daughter of Dea. Francis Bushnell.16

On 20 Sep 1666 Hester married Rev. Thomas Buckingham, son of Thomas Buckingham (-16 Jun 1657) & Hannah (-28 Jun 1646), in Saybrook, CT.163 Born ca 1646. Thomas died in Saybrook, CT on 1 Apr 1709.163

Thomas didn’t have a college education but was ordained 1670. He was one of the founders of Yale College.25
