Treas 1679-85, 1689-91. Mem of Council of War 1657-8. Councillor of Provinse of Mass Bay in Charter of 1692. Councillor 1692-8. One of Gov Andros Council in 1687.”171
Ca 1650 William first married Alice Richards (1664) , daughter of Thomas Richards (669) (ca 1596-ca Dec 1650) & Welthean (-1679), in Plymouth, MA.31 Born ca 1629 in Pitminster, Somerset.16 Alice was baptized in Pitminster, Somerset, on 7 Apr 1629.16 Alice died in Plymouth, MA on 12 Dec 1671.62 “on the 12^th Day of December 1671 Mistris Allice Bradford Junir: Changed this life for a better, about the age of 44 yeeres Shee was a gracious Woman liveed much Desired Died much lamented and was buried on the 14 Day of the month aforesaid att Plymouth abovesaid”. Buried on 14 Dec 1671 in Plymouth, MA.62

On 21 Dec 1648 Mercy married Benjamin Vermayes in Plymouth, MA.62 “Mr Beniamin Vermayes maried unto MiS Mercy Bradford teh one and twentyeth of December”. Born ca 1624.31 Benjamin died bef 1666.

Benjamin removed to Boston. He took the freeman’s oath at Boston 18 May 1642. Later in Plymouth; resided on North Street. Not mentioned in either partnt’s will. No known issue.171
1829. Joseph Bradford. Born ca 1630 in Plymouth, MA.31 Joseph died in Plymouth, MA on 10 Jul 1715.63 Buried in Burial Hill, Plymouth.

Joseph and Jael resided at Flat House Dock on Jones River, Kingston.171
On 25 May 1664 Joseph married Jael Hobart (3834) , daughter of Rev. Peter Hobart (2299) (ca 1604-20 Jan 1678/9) & Rebecca Ibrook (1527) (ca 1608-ca Dec 1645), in Hingham, MA.45 Born ca 1643 in Hingham, MA. Jael was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 30 Dec 1643.45 Jael died in Kingston, MA on 14 Apr 1730.182 Buried in Old Burying Bround, First Church, Kingston.
