Seaborn was the eldest son of Rev. John Cotton, born on the voyage from England to New England. He graduated at Harvard College, 1651, as was ordained at Hampton as the fourth minister of the town.40
On 14 Jun 1654 when Seaborn was 20, he first married Dorothy Bradstreet (6747) , daughter of Gov. Simon Bradstreet (2563) (18 Mar 1603/4-27 Mar 1697) & Anne Dudley (3496) (ca 1611-16 Sep 1672), in Andover, MA.16 Born ca 1634 in Salem, MA. Dorothy died in Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire 26 Feb 1671/2.152 Dorothy died in childbirth. Buried 28 Feb 1671/2.152

Prudence first married Anthony Crosby, second Seaborn Cotton as his second wife, and third John Hammond.

3427. Elizabeth Cotton. Born on 9 Dec 1637 in Boston, MA.16 Elizabeth was baptized in Boston, MA, on 10 Dec 1637.16 Elizabeth died in Boston, MA, on 31 Aug 1656; she was 18. Elizabeth wife of Jeremiah Eggington died 31st - 6th month 1656.
On 12 Oct 1655 when Elizabeth was 17, she married Jeremiah Eggington in Boston, MA. Mr. Jeremiah Eggington & Elizabeth Cotton daughter of the late John Cotton deceased were married 12th - 8th month 1655 by Capt. Robert Bridges.

There seem to be no further mention of Jeremiah after his wife’s decease..
