On 12 May 1658 Mercy married Samuel Freeman, son of Samuel Freeman (ca 1600-ca 1644/1646) & Apphia Quick (-bef 1 Aug 1668), in Eastham, MA.16 Born on 11 May 1638 in Watertown, MA.30 Samuel died on 25 Nov 1712; he was 74.33

On 1 Mar 1689 Priscilla first married Rev. Samuel Talbot in Bristol, RI.16

In May 1708 Priscilla second married John Irish, son of John Irish (ca 1611-bef 5 Mar 1677/8) & Elizabeth [Irish] (-after 23 Mar 1673/4), in Little Compton, RI.271 John Irish and Prescilla Church were married by Benjamin Church, Justice. Born say 1647. John died in Little Compton, RI on 21 Feb 1717.314

On 26 Dec 1667 Alice married Capt. Benjamin Church (9075) , son of Richard Church (ca 1608-27 Dec 1668) & Elizabeth Warren (3080) (ca 1616-9 Mar 1669/70).299 Born ca 1640 in Plymouth, MA.31 Benjamin died in Freetown, MA on 17 Jan 1718.317,271 Occupation: carpenter.

Benjamin was the first ‘Englishman’ to settle at Little Compton in 1675. He was a hero in King’s Philip’s War. He was involved early on in the war at Pease Field Fight in Jun 1675, later in the massacre at the Great Swamp in Dec 1675, and he lead the expedition that resulted in King Philip’s capture in Aug 1676. Benjamin dictated to his son Thomas his story published in 1716 as Entertaining Passages Relating to Philip’s War. Various editions have been published including The History of Philip’s War, Commonly Called the Great Indian War of 1675 and 1676, edited by Samuel Drake in 1829 and reprinted in 1989 by Heritage Book, Bowie, MD. Col. Benjamin Church, Esq., and his wife Alice, both from Bristol, were admitted to the United Congregational Church in Little Compton March 1716/7.314

David, of Duxbury, “was much employed in the public business of teh twon, one of its selectmen, its deputy, and likewise an assistant in the Government. He was likewise a prominent member of the church, said to have been one of its deacons, and a mand of the highest respectability. He received a grant of 40 acres in 1679, west of South river.”180

Ca 1680 William first married Rebecca Pabodie (7977) , daughter of William Pabodie (2850) (ca 1619-13 May 1707) & Elizabeth Alden (4970) (ca 1625-31 May 1717). Born on 16 Oct 1660 in Duxbury, MA.192 Rebecca died in Little Compton, RI, on 3 Dec 1702; she was 42.271 Buried in Old Commons Cemetery, Little Compton.

14 (Or 15) Nov 1705 William second married Martha Kirtland, daughter of Nathaniel Kirtland (-Dec 1686) & Parnell (-aft 1667), in Saybrook, CT.16 Born on 15 May 1667 in Lynn, MA. Martha died in Saybrook, CT, on 7 Feb 1738; she was 70.
