Torrey’s New England Marriages gives the marriage date of 6 Apr 1659. If that’s correct, then Jeremiah and Elizabeth probably had children before Jeremiah’s birth at Topsfield in 1672.
On 6 Apr 1659 Elizabeth married Rev. Jeremiah Hobart (3826) , son of Rev. Peter Hobart (2299) (ca 1604-20 Jan 1678/9) & Rebecca Ibrook (1527) (ca 1608-ca Dec 1645). Born on 6 Apr 1630 in England. Jeremiah died in Haddam, CT, on 6 Nov 1715; he was 85.336 Education: Harvard 1650.

Jeremiah was minister at Topsfield, MA, at Hampstead, LI, and at Haddam, CT.45

4381. Rev. Samuel Whiting. Born on 25 Mar 1633 in Skirbeck, Lincolnshire. Samuel died in Billerica, MA 28 Feb 1712/3. Education: Harvard 1653, with AM 1656.

Samuel, freeman 1656, was ordained 11 Nov 1663, the first minister of Billerica although he had preached there more than five years before.
On 12 Nov 1656 when Samuel was 23, he married Dorcas Chester (20477) , daughter of Leonard Chester (7445) (ca 1610-1648) & Mary (ca 1608-30 Nov 1688), in Charlestown, MA.106 Mr. Samuel Whiing & Dorcas Cheseter, married by Capt. Danile Gookin. Born ca 1638.16 Dorcas died in Feb 1713.

John may have gone soon after his graduation at Harvard to England and “was intended for a physician, but became a preacher,” says Mather, “first at Butterwick, then at Leverton in Lincolnshire where he died a godly conformist.”
John married Esther.
4383. Rev. Joseph Whiting. Born on 6 Apr 1641 in Lynn, MA. Joseph died in Southampton, Suffolk County, New York, on 7 Apr 1723; he was 82. Education: Harvard 1661.

Joseph assisted his father several years and succeeded him by ordination 1680. He removed to Southampton, LI in 1682 where he was “a worthy and painful minister of the gospel” when Mather worte 1698.
Joseph first married Sarah Danforth, daughter of Dep. Gov. Thomas Danforth (ca Nov 1623-5 Nov 1699) & Mary Withington (ca 1623-26 Mar 1697). Born on 11 Nov 1646 in Cambridge, MA. Sarah died in Southampton, Suffolk County, New York ca 1726.
