Amos Rogers was appointed administrator of his estate, Oct. 18, 1760; the sureties on his bond were Thomas Rogers and Moses Rogers, and one of the appraisers was Timothy Rogers.
His real estate was divided in 1761, among Moses, his only son; the children of Joanna Patrick, deceased, “who was a daughter of said Joseph Rogers”; and Susannah Rogers, only surviving daughter of the deceased; reserving to the widow Judith her dower; payments were made by the administrator to Seth Bryant, guardian of the Patrick children.
In 1745, Joanna Butler left legacies to Joseph Rogers^3, his son Moses^4 and his daughters, Susanna^4 and Joanna^4.
Joseph Rogers^3 of Marshfield conveyed to his uncle, John Rogers^3 of Marshfield, Jan’y 27, 1706/7, thirty acres of land which he had purchased of his father Joseph Rogers^2, Jan'y 23, 1706/7 ; Joanna Butler was a witness to the deed. B. VII, p. 158.
Moses^4. No mention of him has as yet been found in the town or church records.
Susanna^4. The only reference to her (save in the Probate record given above) is the following from the record of the Second Church “Susanna, daughter of Joseph Rogers and her son, Lemuel, were baptized Sept. 18, 1757.”
Joseph married Judith Rogers. Judith was baptized on 15 Oct 1727.236

6 Mar 1722/3 John married Leah Lincoln (31142) , daughter of Daniel Lincoln (ca 1662-28 Nov 1724) & Sarah Nichols (13896) (25 Mar 1668-5 Jun 1709).236 Born on 9 Dec 1695 in Hingham, MA.45 Leah died in Hingham, MA 11 Mar 1728/9.236

From John Rogers of Marshfield:236
The fullest investigation of the history of this family gives very unsatisfactory results.
His first wife had been previously married, but to whom has not been ascertained. The Pembroke record has an entry, made after her second marriage, “Jeannette, second daughter of Sarah Rogers, and daughter-in-law of Timothy Rogers, born in Pembroke, Oct. 9, 1708.”
It appears by a deed (B. LXXVI, p 247), that he had moved to Middleboro before 17 17, but the record of that town gives nothing more than the second marriage.
Josiah Keen, of Duxbury, in his will, d. May 28, 1695, p. Sept. 15, 17 10, mentions sons, Josiah, John, Ephraim and Matthew, and four daughters, names not given. 17697.Moses Rogers. Born in Duxbury, MA.236 Moses died in 1707.236
From John Rogers of Marshfield:236
Moses died in 1707, in his father's lifetime. Being about to join the troops at Port Royal in the French and Indian War, he undertook to make a will which is described to be “most peculiarly worded, badly written and awkwardly executed.” In a protest against its being probated it is called “a scrool.” It is dated April 12, 1707; the witnesses were examined in relation to it September I, 1707, and October 24, 1707; one was his brother, Timothy, one his sister, Lydia, and the other, James Hunter, understood to be an Indian. He gave legacies to his father, Joseph Rogers, his brother, Joseph Rogers, and to his mother, not naming her. A protest was filed against its allowance by Thomas Parris of Duxbury, and Abigail, his wife, sister of said Moses. The will was recorded, but there is no record showing that it was admitted to probate.
Joseph Rogers of Duxbury conveyed, Jan’y 27, 1706/7, to his son, Moses Rogers of Marshfield, about six acres of land in Marshfield, being same land owned by John Rogers of Marshfield deceased and lying between land of John Rogers deceased, and Samuel Niles and Timothy Rogers and “next to land I sold my son, Joseph Rogers.” Deeds B. VII, p. 159.
