On 3 Sep 1717 when Mary was 61, she second married Eleazer Jewett, son of Jeremiah Jewett (ca 1637-20 May 1714) & Sarah Dickinson (18 Oct 1644-30 Jan 1723/4).115 Born ca 1673 in Rowley, MA. Eleazer was baptized in Rowley, MA, on 23 Nov 1673.85 Eleazer died in Norwich, CT in 1748.

Eleazer first married Mary (apparently also known as Sarah) (Armstrong) Lamb, widow of Ebenezer Lamb; second Mary (Griswold) Tracy, widow of Jonathan Tracy.

7 Mar 1677[/8] Hannah married William Clark, son of Thomas Clark (1599-24 Mar 1697) & Susannah Ring (ca 1611-), in Saybrook, CT.163 Born ca 1634.16

    “lived in a garrison house by Eel river, which was surprised by the Indians on a Sunday, March 12, 1676, while he was at church. His wife, several of his children, and some other persons, eleven in all, were killed in this attack, which is said to have been the only serious one ever made on the settlement. A son of William Clarke, named Thomas, was left for dead, but afterwards recovered, and had a silver plate but over his exposed brain, by the celebrated surgeon Dr. John Clarke, of Boston. He ever afterwars was known as ‘Silver-headed Tom.’
    “In July 1676, two hundred Indians surrendered themselves to the Plymouth Governor, and were pardoned, with the exception of those who had been concerned in the slaughter at Clarke’s garrison at Plymouth; these were put to death.—Baylies’ History.”354

Jonathan was of Norwich in 1680, perhaps earlier of Killingworth, and removed to Windham about 1690.25
