On 12 May 1731 Martha married Eliab Turner (20295) , son of Amasa Turner (8789) (10 Dec 1674-8 Dec 1711) & Anna Hatch (7389) (6 Oct 1677-aft 27 Mar 1754), in First Congegational Church of Hanover.486,446 Born on 17 Dec 1706 in Scituate, MA.52 At the age of 5, Eliab was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 20 Jul 1712.52

On 19 Feb 1725, James Hatch (Eliab’s uncle), with Jospeh Josselyn, both of Scituate, as his surety, was appointed guardian “unto Eliab Turner the son of Amasa Turner late of Scituate ... deceased who is a minor under the age of twenty one years.”447

On 22 Nov 1738 Benjamin married Ruth Winslow (24323) , daughter of Nathaniel Winslow (13032) (29 Jul 1667-30 Mar 1736) & Deborah Barstow (9403) (26 Dec 1681-), in First Congegational Church of Hanover.446 Born on 30 Dec 1718 in Marshfield, MA.60 Marriage intention published on 7 Oct 1738 at Scituate, MA.52

The marriage intention at Scituate names Benjamin Barstow Jr. and Ruth Winslow.52 The marriage record at Hanover names them Benjamin Barstow Jr of Hanover and Ruth Winslow of Scituate.446 Barry’s A Historical Sketch of the Town of Hanover174 says that Ruth Winslow was a widow but neither the marriage intention or marriage record mention that.

There were at least three Benjamin Barstows in Scitutate at the time:
    a. Benjamin Barston, b. 1679, son of Joseph & Susanna (Lincoln) Barstow, but he is said to have died before 1712.
    b. Benjamin Barstow, b. 1690, son of William & Martha Barstow who had married his second wife, Sarah Barden, in 1729
    c. Benjamin Barstow, b. 1716, son of Benjamin (b) and his first wife, Mercy Randall.
It appears that Ruth Winslow married the son, Benjamin Barstow (c).

On 1 Dec 1747 Mercy married Joshua Thomas (41223) , son of Josiah Thomas (34425) (ca 1698/9-ca 1748/1750) & Deborah Bartlett (21481) (ca 1700-aft 5 Mar 1764), in Duxbury, MA.395 Born on 9 Sep 1726 in Duxbury, MA.316 Joshua died in Duxbury, MA, on 20 May 1812; he was 85.316

Ebenezer was of Marshfield and Margaret of Hanover when they married.446
On 27 Aug 1741 Margaret married Ebenezer Eames (14750) , son of Anthony Eames (10618) (ca 1663-17 Apr 1739) & Elizabeth Tilden (5309) (ca 1665-18 Feb 1711/2), in First Congegational Church of Hanover.446 Born on 20 Dec 1711 in Marshfield, MA. Ebenezer died in North Haven, Knox County, Maine.
