William Bradford (1827) (17 Jun 1624-20 Feb 1703/4) & Mary Wood (ca 1643-6 Jan 1714/5), in Plymouth, MA.31 Born ca 1677/78 in Plymouth, MA.31 Israel died in Kingston, MA on 26 Mar 1760.182 Buried in Old Burying Bround, First Church, Kingston.

Israel and Sarah resided in Plymouth, Duxbury, and Kingston.171 They were of Kingston on 28 Dec 1742 when they sold land to John Samson of Duxborough.

On 27 Nov 1701 Rebecca married John Bradford (12178) , son of Maj. John Bradford (4159) (20 Feb 1652/3-8 Dec 1736) & Mercy Warren (9101) (23 Sep 1653-Mar 1747), in Plymouth, MA.63 Born on 29 Dec 1675 in Plymouth, MA.63 John died in Kingston, MA, on 27 Mar 1724; he was 48.182 Buried in Anc. Burial Ground, Kingston.

John resided in Plymouth, later Kingston. He inherited property from his grandfather’s estate.171

    The Last Will & Testament of John Bradford Junr. of Plymouth. I John Bradford of Plymouth, not knowing how near I am to my great & last Change do ordain & appoint this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form following. Imprimis: I Bequeath my Soul into ye Hands of my mercefull Redeemer in whom I desire to be found: & my Body to ye Earth to be decently Buried in Hope of a glorious Resurrection: & as to ye outward Estate it hath Pleased God to Bless me with I dispose of as followeth: viz: In ye first Place I give to my Loving Wife Rebeckah Bradford one Half of my Real Estate during Her Widdowhood & all my Personal Estate whilst She Shall Remain my widdow & In Case She marrys it is my Will that She Should Still Retain one Half of abovesd. Personal Estate that is then Left: ye other Half to be Equally divided between my two Children Robert & Rebeckah. Item: I give & Bequeath to my Son Robert all my Real Estate both In Possession and Reversion Excepting Some Particular Peices of Land as Shall be below mentioned. viz: I give & Bequeath to my daughter Rebeckah one Thirty acre Lott: Lying on ye north Side of Jones River in Plymouth which I Bought of Nathaniel Holmes. Probated on 28 Apr. 1724, and proved by Caleb Loring, Gershom Bradford, and Seth Chipman, who testified that he had signed the will “the later end of March last.”
    The inventory of the Personal Estate of John Bradford Junr., late of Plymouth, dated 6 May 1724, was appraised by Isaac Cushman Junr., Jacob Mitchell, and Gershom Bradford, and totaled £323.13.0.
 

Ruth married John Murdock (14235) , son of John Murdock (ca 1664/1666-Mar 1756) & Lydia Young (4938) (ca 1664-). Born on 8 Jun 1691 in Plymouth, MA.316 John died in Plymouth, MA, on 16 Sep 1756; he was 65.316

On 5 Aug 1714 Mercy married John Turner (23186) , son of Benjamin Turner (8748) (5 Mar 1660-bef 21 Feb 1734) & Elizabeth Hawkins (-bef 8 Mar 1743/4), in Duxbury, MA.52,192 Born 1 Jan 1692/3 in Scituate, MA.52 John died in Scituate, MA on 20 Mar 1778.52 Buried in Second Church Cemetery, Norwell. Occupation: Yeoman.

John first married Mercy Bartlett, second Mary Vinal.

John’s will was dated 27 Jan 1775, codicil of 13 Dec 1777, proved 21 Aug 1778. He names his wife Mary; three youngest daughters Mary, Lucy and Ruth under 18 [Rachel hadn’t been born yet]; daughter Grace Jones, wife of John Jones; daugher Deborah Oakman, wife of Samuel Oakman; and grandson Melzer Turner Oakman. The codicil names his daughter Rachel who was born after the will was written.

On 5 Jul 1716 William married Sarah Foster (34217) , daughter of Dea. John Foster (16295) (12 Oct 1666-24 Dec 1741) & Hannah Stetson (22758) (Nov 1671-ca 1747), in Duxbury, MA.316 Born on 16 Apr 1696 in Plymouth, MA.63 Sarah died in Marshfield, MA, on 7 Feb 1778; she was 81.42 Buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield.

Sarah first married William Bartlett, second Nathan Thomas as his third wife, and third Jedediah Bourn as his second wife.

On 31 Dec 1718 Priscilla married John Sampson, son of Stephen Sampson (ca 1653-bef 31 Jan 1714/5) & Elizabeth Sprague (ca 1656-27 May 1727), in Duxbury, MA.192 Born on 17 Aug 1688 in Duxbury, MA.316 John died in Duxbury, MA, on 26 Jan 1770; he was 81.316

On 19 Dec 1723 Deborah married Josiah Thomas (34425) , son of Samuel Thomas (6 Nov 1655-2 Sep 1720) & Mercy Ford (16419) (29 Apr 1662-Sep 1741), in Duxbury, MA.180 Born ca 1698/9 in Marshfield, MA. Josiah was baptized in Marshfield, MA, 19 Mar 1698/9. Josiah died in Duxbury, MA ca 1748/1750.316

On 30 Aug 1728 when Abigail was 24, she married Hon. Gamaliel Bradford (12238) , son of Lieut. Samuel Bradford (4166) (ca 1667/68-11 Apr 1714) & Hannah Rogers (21437) (16 Nov 1668-Sep 1754), in Duxbury, MA.180 Born on 18 Mar 1704 in Plymouth, MA.63 Gamaliel died in Duxbury, MA, on 24 Apr 1778; he was 74.180

Gamaliel resided in Duxbury.180 He was Duxbury’s representative at Mass. General Court 17431-1749, 51-54, and 56. Councillor 1757-69. Judge of CT Common Pleas 19 Aug 1762. Col. in Crown Point Expedition 1755.171
