She did not marry Dr. Charles Stockbridge (32069) , son of Dr. Benjamin Stockbridge (14826) (30 Aug 1704-1788) & Ruth Otis (28583) (13 Mar 1712-5 Jan 1745). Born on 23 Mar 1734 in Scituate, MA.52 Charles died in Scituate, MA, on 23 Nov 1806; he was 72.52 Buried in Union Street Cemetery, Scituate. Religion: Episopalian.

Charles, the only surviving son of Benjamin, succeeded his father “in his mansion and his profession. He was educated in medicine by his father, and attained to a high reputation. Like his father, he was pleasing in his manners, and accomplished in all literature, and tasteful arts.”53
