The 1895 Rice County, Minnesota census has

1900 Rice County, Cannon City census indicates Ada, his mother, is a widow, 58 years of age and was born in February 1864. There is obviously an error in the year of her birth. She and her mother were born in Ohio and her father in New York. She has had four children and all are still living. Lee R. Strunk is the head of the house. He is a farmer, 21 and was born in September 1878. Blanche was born in February 1881, and Agnes was born in December 1884. Lee is a farmer and rents his home. Dwelling 139, Family 142. SD 3; ED 147. Sheet 7A. Written page numbers 21A and 48.

In the 1910 Rice County, Cannon City census Adelaide C. is 66 years old. Leroy R. Strunk, age 32, has a wife named Leona E. who is 30 years old. They have each only been married once, wed nine years ago, and have an eight year old daughter named Joy. Adelaide and both of her parents were born in Ohio.Leona was born in Minnesota, her father in New York and her mother in Ohio. Ward 110 Dwelling 104; Family 104. Sheet 6 A.

The 1920 Rice County, Cannon City census lists Adelaide as a boarder with the Oscar Sandborn family. She is a widow, 76 years of age and was born in Ohio. She was born in Ohio, her father in Vermont and her mother in New York. Oscar and his mother were born in Minnesota, and his father in Vemont. Oscar’s wife Agnes is 35 and was born in Minnesota. Her father was born in New York and her mother in Ohio. While Adelaide is referred to as a “Boarder” it is highly likely that Agnes is her youngest daughter. The Sandborn’s have three sons who were all born in Minnesota: Walter, age 8; Morris, age 3 and a half; and Freeman, age one. Dwelling 23; Family 23; SD 3, ED 111, Sheet 2A, page 803.
