Frank Alvin Parker died 9 October 1913 of a fracture of the base of the skull. There was a bruise along the back and fracture of the right arm. He was born 5 August 1861, and was 52 years, two months and four days old at death. He worked as a painter and his parents were unknown. Howard B. Parker of Battle Creek was the informant. He was buried in Battle Creek.

On 3 Sep 1921 when Elizabeth N. was 50, she second married Frank Scramlin, son of James Scramlin (6 Jul 1823-27 Feb 1896) & Olive Hunt (2 Nov 1826-5 Apr 1915), in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan. Born on 16 Jul 1865 in Climax, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Frank died in Mcmillan Township, Luce County, Michigan, on 19 Nov 1922; he was 57. Buried in North Climax Cemetery, Kalamzaoo County.

Frank first married Ella Watts, second Elizabeth (Van Geison) Parker, widow of F. Alvin Parker.

William first married Ada Sarah Flynn, second Elizabeth (Van Geison) (Parker) Scramlin, widow of F. Alvin Parker and Frank Scramlin.

“The Herrick meat market will be sold as soon as the estate of the late F. H. Herrick can be probated. It was stated by one of Mr. Herrick’s sons who was here today that they had had two offers for the business, but that it is impossible to sell until an order is secured from the probate judge of Eaton county in which county the estate is being probated.”
