110 Born ca 1671 in Scituate, MA. Amos was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 4 Jun 1671.52 Amos died in Scituate, MA on 13 Apr 1739.52 Buried in First Parish Cemetery, Scituate Harbor.
Major Amos lived fifty rods north of Stockbridge’s mill and Mansion.53
Amos resided in the Country Way near the Tan Brook on the western side of the way, nearly opposite to the residence of his uncle, John Turner, Jr. ‘young son John.’42 Amos was a representative to the General Court, 1726-8 and 1732.184
