    In 1796, Israel Rogers bought two lots of land in Charlestown, one fronting on Water Street; the other he conveyed Oct. 6, 1796, his wife, Hannah, joining in the deed.
    On Feb’y 12, 1831, Benjamin Barrell conveyed his interest in the house on Water Street, consideration one dollar, to Ruth Rogers, singlewoman — “it being ... the house that was the dwelling
lately occupied by Israel Rogers, lately deceased.”
    Hannah Rogers and Benjamin Barrell, both of Charlestown, were married, June 10, 1802.
    We find no record of the births of any other children of Israel and Hannah Rogers [besides Ruth and Hannah], or of any children of Benjamin and Hannah Barrell; but Benjamin Barrell, single, son of Benjamin and Hannah, died in Charlestown, Oct. 27, 1858, aged 55 years, 5 mos. None of the estates were settled in Probate Court.
    Mrs. Rogers, a widow, lived at No. 23, Water Street, in 1834, and, according to the Directory, Benjamin Barrell lived there in 1848.
    About 1839, the widow, and Ruth and her married sister were living together in Charlestown.
    Ruth Rogers, of Orleans, and John H. Twiss of Boston, were married in Charlestown, Nov. 29, 1838; perhaps Ruth^6, but probably not.

    Prince Rogers, in will, d. Jan’y 28, 1832, p. June 5, 1832, mentions Bethia Rogers, Jr. and Eunice Rogers, singlewomen, and daughters of Nathaniel Rogers.
    Nathaniel Rogers conveyed, by deed ack., June 28, 1830, to his daughters, Bethia, Jr. and Eunice Rogers, the land that his father, Israel Rogers, gave him in 1805, being his homestead farm. B. CLXX, p. 187.
Also Prince Rogers, by deed ack., Jan’y 27, 1832, conveyed land to Bethia Rogers, Jr., and Eunice Rogers, daughters of Nathaniel Rogers of Marshfield, singlewomen. B. CLXXVI, p. 110.
    Also Stephen Rogers and Abijah Hatch, by deed ack., Dec. 16, 1833, conveyed land to Bethia and Eunice Rogers. B. CLXXXIII, p. 12.
    Eunice Rogers was appointed Adm’r of Bethia Rogers, of Marshfield, March 5, 1844.
On 7 Jan 1779 when Nathaniel was 28, he married Bethiah Clift (55230) , daughter of William Clift (44144) (28 Dec 1720-10 Feb 1778) & Bethiah Hatch (39712) (22 Nov 1727-12 Jan 1810).236 Born on 18 Jun 1747 in Marshfield, MA.236 Bethiah was baptized on 4 Aug 1747.236 Bethiah died in Marshfield, MA, on 19 Apr 1842; she was 94.236
