Samuel’s father game him 50 acres, being the southwest part of his farm (the Susa. Hemenway place), where he build a house; sold to John Potter of Leicester; 30 Mar 1722 his father-in-law, John Death, gave him a deed of all his estate (the Joseph Phipps farm), on condition that he support said John Death and wife during life, and pay off the heirs. The land rand northerly to near Learned’s pond, and was bounded east on the Gleasons, and west on the Samuel Eames land.
On 23 Nov 1715 Samuel married Ruth Death (19853) , daughter of John Death (ca 1651-5 Jun 1710) & Mary Peabody (7150) (22 May 1656-), in Framingham, MA.359 Born on 20 Jul 1688 in Sherborn, MA.441
